Adele (Adele Laurie Blue Adkins ) is a British singer, who debuted in 2008 with an album, which won 2 Grammy Awards, making her one of the leading pop singers in Europe. She was born in North London, England on May 5, 1988. Even though the family didn’t have any relation to music, they supported an interest of Adele toward it. Her mom used to set up a stage for the daughter to perform and herself sitting as the audience. As many other girls in the 90s, Adele was fond of Spice Girls and due to them started singing in 14. She posted several songs to MySpace.com and soon was noticed by XL Recordings in 2006. Her album ”19” which was released in 2008 included songs “Hometown Glory” and “Chasing pavements”. That year she won best new artist and the best female pop vocal performance on Grammy Awards. Next year Adele was nominated for 4 Grammys and got 2 of them. Several years later she released an album “21”, which became the biggest to date. It included such songs as “Someone Like You”, “Set Fire to the Rain”, “Rolling in the Deep”.
