When he was 12, Jake Owen wanted to be a professional golf player. He was part of the Florida State University golf team, but he also started to think that he could be also a self-taught country rocker. He picks up the guitar and, besides being so good looking and very ambitious, his musical productions were received positively by their first audience. Before the graduation at Florida State University, he took the decision to give up and to move to Nashville to learn how to be a country superstar. One of his main advantages is his strong voice, that makes one thing that he may be twice as old as he is. His success resides in the way in which he brought the hard rock harmonies in the country music. In 2006 he released his debut album ‘Startin’ With Me’ and was received with an enormous success due to the interesting choice of the title, but also for the single ‘Yee Haw’. In early 2009, another album offered a new sample of his musical qualities – ‘Easy Does It’.
