Miranda Lambert grew up in a relatively non-conventional environment, with his father a regular guitar player of country music and a mother busy to manage her own detective agency. The results are her very interesting songs where she tells a lot of intriguing stories. Her musical debut took place when she was 16, as she competed in a singing contest. She was encouraged to continue and 12 months after she not only played her guitar, but wrote most of her songs. She also kept a high profile in the media and played in a potato chip ad. Further on, Lambert turned her dream truth and had her own band, The Texas Pride Band, that, with the generous help of her father, entered the Texas music charts. In 2003, she hasn't only moved to Nashville but also won the third place of ‘Nashville Star’. Her debut album ‘Kerosene’ was largely supported by Sony. Even though she released in 2007 a good musical production called ‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’, the confirmation of her success arrived only two years after, with ‘Revolution’. Two years later, a lot of things happened to her: she got married and became Mrs. Blake Shelton, was appreciated for her participation to The Pistol Annies and, last but not least, she released her fourth album, named as simple as possible: ‘For The Record’.
